As pioneers in outdoor education in Malta, due to our unique countryside location, our established outdoor programme is an integral part of the Early Years Experience. Our curriculum is planned in a way that all learning areas such as Numeracy, Literacy, Science, Music, Art, and Movement can be experienced through an outdoor setting.
This programme helps children to grow in confidence as a result of the freedom, time, and space they are given in their outdoor learning experience. This allows them to demonstrate independence at each individual child's rate while they feel empowered as they learn more about their own natural environment.
A nature area on the school grounds with a natural garigue which is home to indigenous flora and fauna and a natural pond, is designed to develop knowledge and awareness of the environment and how to contribute to a globally sustainable future.
This will be complemented by a new Outdoor Education Area with over 5500m2 of natural land adjacent to the school, which will be completed in 2024.
