Today marked an unforgettable milestone as our Grade 12 (Form 5) students bid adieu to their San Anton journey. It was a day brimming with laughter, camaraderie, and heartfelt farewells.
The day kicked off with a delightful start as students gathered for a special activity in the charming streets of Rabat. Energised by the aroma of pastizzi at Serkin, they embarked on a leisurely stroll, soaking in the ambiance of the historic surroundings.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Eucharistic celebration at St Dominic's Priory, led by our esteemed School Chaplain, Fr. Christopher Caruana. Amidst the serene atmosphere, students found solace and reflection, marking the spiritual essence of their final day together.
Post-mass, the festivities continued with an array of engaging games, adding an extra layer of joy to the occasion. However, the real surprise came in the form of a visit by one of our distinguished Old Antonians, Maxine Pace. As a recent winner of Mużika Mużika and an Old Antonian, Maxine shared her inspirational journey, emphasizing the profound impact of music on her life—a testament to the transformative power of passion and perseverance.
Returning to the school grounds, the day concluded on a poignantnote as students gathered to reminisce about cherished memories and shared experiences. It was a time to acknowledge the profound bonds forged over the years—a sentiment echoed by many who described San Anton School not merely as an educational institution but as their second home, their family.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved in orchestrating this memorable day, from the meticulous planning to the seamless execution. Your dedication and commitment have ensured that our Grade 12 students depart with cherished memories etched in their hearts, ready to embark on the next chapter of their lives.
As we bid farewell to this exceptional cohort, we wish them success, happiness, and fulfillment in all their future endeavors.
