This morning marked a truly special occasion as we concluded our Children for Children Campaign with a heartfelt presentation. The San Anton School community came together and raised an impressive sum of €7,200 through various engaging activities as part of this year's San Anton School Community Social Engagement Programme. We had the pleasure of presenting Ms. Angele Cuschieri from Puttinu with a cheque for this remarkable amount.
In addition to the generous donation, we recognised the outstanding efforts of 50 Junior Sector students who received Children for Children Ambassador Awards. These young individuals actively contributed to the campaign's success by using their talents to create and sell products and crafts to their peers.
Head of School, Ms. Bernadette Stivala, conducted the presentation in the presence of two of our students who have been receiving care from Puttinu throughout the year, accompanied by their mothers. It was a deeply moving moment as we witnessed firsthand the impact of our collective efforts.
The funds we collected will be utilised to sponsor a bedroom at the new Dar Dr. Victor Calvagna, currently under construction in London, United Kingdom. This noble project will provide much-needed support and comfort to those in need, and we couldn't be prouder to have played a part in it.
We are incredibly grateful for the incredible dedication and generosity demonstrated by the San Anton School community. Together, we have made a meaningful difference in the lives of others through our Children for Children Campaign, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to create positive change.
