Old Antonian Shares I.T. Experience with Students

On the 11th May 2011, our Grade 11 ( Form 4) Computer Studies students attended a talk held at school in the Library during school hours by an Old Antonian who studied and graduated in I.T.

Simon Attard was invited to speak to our students about his experience in I.T. and how his initial forays in the subject as a student at San Anton led to him opening his own company, thereby becoming an entrepreneur in the field.

After the talk, our students had the opportunity to speak about their studies while enquiring and discussing with our guest what can be achieved in the field of I.T. today. Mr. Attard was most forthcoming and encouraged our students to work on valid ideas, think outside the box and turn their dreams into reality.

This event characterises our continued efforts to contextualise our students’ studies within the realities of life and the working world and our commitment to giving our students an education which adequately prepares them for what lies beyond life at San Anton.
