Once again during the Easter holidays, a group of Grade 10 students from San Anton School, accompanied by four teachers, travelled to England to embark on a PGL Adventure!
The PGL Centre hosting the group this year was PGL Osmington Bay in Weymouth, Dorset. The centre sits right on the Jurassic Coast opposite Portland Island, venue for the sailing events of the 2012 Olympic Games. The group participated in various exhilarating activities such as Aeroball, raft building, abseiling, hiking, climbing and Jacob’s ladder.
This very popular trip organised by the PE Department helps instil in our students some very important attributes that the community at San Anton holds dearly to heart: a sense of teamwork and perseverance.
“PGL was pretty much the best holiday I’ve ever had. It was fun, full of adventure and most of all a great way to develop friendships! It will not be an experience I will forget easily.” confirmed Nicholas Galea, one of the participating students.
